3 Castles of Britain

How is it that throughout the ages there has been millions of ghost encounters, and yet its still opinion they exist? Great Britian has been known for its haunted castles throughout the world. The Chillingham castle Billed as "The Most Haunted Castle in Britain", Chillingham Castle in the county of Northumberland in Northern England is infamous for an entire collection of restless souls. The most famous of the castle's ghosts is the 'Blue Boy', whose agonizing cries are said to wail out at around midnight from a passageway inside the castle close to one of the modern-day self catering apartments.
      Built in the 14th century, Old Wardour Castle in Wiltshire, Southwest England has been labeled as England's most romantic castle. Lady Blanche Arundell, a Royalist supporter during the 17th century English Civil War, held out against Cromwell's Roundheads with her servants in a siege that lasted nearly a month. The castle was eventually captured by the Roundheads and Lady Blanche Arundell promptly imprisoned and executed. It is said that she walks from the castle to the lake in the fading daylight as a chill pervades the air.
       Berry Pomeroy castle not far from Dartmoor National Park in Devon is the haunted castle of Berry Pomeroy. Now a romantic ruin this 13th century castle is home to a number of ghostly happenings, the most frequent of which is a sighting of a White Lady. She appears in the dark dungeons below the castle and on top of the castle ramparts, her apparition being reported as recently as 1987. The White Lady is thought to be the spirit of Margaret Pomeroy who was imprisoned in the dungeons by her sister and made to slowly starve to death.

Evil Among Us

Some people believe that evil has alot to do with ghosts place upon this earth. Its said that demons are the worst, that over time one so powerful can over take a human body. Demons and ghosts are not the same, they are compared to one another as a shark and a minnow. When a person gets haunted by a ghost or demond one must believe in a higher power in any chance to get rid of it. For example, Joseph was a normal guy that was raised in a church. One day he began to feel this evil unsafe atmosphere around him. Joseph tried to just blow it off however, he kept getting a horrible feeling that something was watching him with intense evil eyes of pain. He was raised in a church that praised and healed with olive oil, so naturally he planned to use olive oil to try and rid his hauntings.With his strong belief in God he fell to his knees, hands dripping with the holy oil of the church, Joseph prayed and prayed untill nothing but good seem to sweep through the entire house. It was a good thing he caught it early some cases like Emily Rose were not so lucky.

Ghostly Tale

Felicia was a sweet young girl.  But most nights she would toss and turn and complain about hearing voices.  It started getting extremely bad when she started seeing a little girl.  She was so frightened it was making her sick.  She had multiple doctor visits and nothing was wrong.  She did well in school and had a ton of friends so no one could understand it.  The whole family was worried but had no idea what to do except just let her be.
CRASH
Felicia's picture of her and her mother had dropped and shattered.  Felicia was screaming and crying frantically. The picture was split directly between her and her mother.
"Shes trying to find her mom! Her mom! Help her!" Felica exclaimed.
The next few days were rough for her.  She started searching on the internet, in books, and in old phone books for a Lindsey Cullum.  She managed to get in contact with a woman with that exact name.  Felicia was extremely happy she had found the little girls mom.  She called Lindsey and told her everything that had been going on.  Lindsey came over to see Felicia.  As soon as Lindsey entered the room the mood changed. The sun came out. Everything at once felt peaceful.
"Your daughter loves you and she wants you to know she's safe where she's going" said Felicia quietly.

A Invisable Past

In traditional belief, a ghost is the spirit or soul of a dead person or animal that can appear in visible form. The belief in the spirits of the dead has been around for thousands of years. Practices contacting or reaching out to the dead was very widespread across the world. Everyone has an opinion on super natural phenomenons whether they believe in aparitions or not. Ghost stories date back to ancient times. Even the Bible refers to several ghost stories. When Jesus walks on water in the Bible, his disciples at first think he is a ghost. It wasn't untill later ghosts were seen as "haunting". There were even reports of hauntings in the first century A.D. It was said that Pliny, the ghost who took shape of an old man, haunted a house in Athens by rattling chains. Ghost stories even swept through the towns and areas of where the Civil War battles took place. It's been said that dead soldiers still believe the war is not over.

Ghost Buster

Ghosts can be a very scary sight, depending on your history. Growing up with my mother, scary ghost movies were a routine, therefore leaving me shaking every night thinking I might see a ghost. At age twelve my older cousin had passed away and a week later I witnessed my first real ghost! No doubt I ran across to the other side of the house with urine running down my leg. However five minutes later I realized what an amazing site that was. I felt like a new person to find myself wandering around in that area hoping to catch another glimpse. This event in my life slashed the fear of ghost and planted the seed of curiousity. Also with the latest series of movies called " Paranormal Activity", has motivated me to even reach out even farther in depth about ghost research. This blog will contain insite to a series of random events and ghost sitings to clear up some debate on the surealness of ghost.
